ADAM HINSHELWOOD has warned Worthing they will have to be at their best to beat Albion in their Sussex Senior Cup semi-final tonight.

Albion thrashed Bognor 7-2 in the quarter-finals to reach the semi-finals, which included a hat-trick from Switzerland Under-19 striker Lorent Tolaj.

Rebels manager Hinshelwood, left, is aware of the threat Albion will pose.

He said: “It will be a really tough game as you saw what they did to Bognor in the quarter-finals.

“It is going to be a tough challenge for us and we will need a little bit of luck. Every player will need to be at their very best if we are going to beat them.”

If Worthing can get past Albion a cup final at the Amex against National League South Eastbourne Borough awaits.

Former Albion defender Hinshelwood says it would be a great way to reward Worthing’s loyal supporters.

He said: “It would be a good experience for the players to play at a stadium like the Amex.

“It would also be a really great occasion for the fans who come and give us tremendous support every game.

“It would be a real thank you from us to them if we got through.”

Hinshelwood confirmed Jesse Starkey is available to play for Worthing as his suspension does not apply in the cup.

The midfielder has missed Worthing’s last five games due to a seven-match ban after being sent off in the 1-0 win against Bishop’s Stortford at the start of February.

New signing Dayshonne Golding will not be available for the Rebels as he is cup-tied having played in the early rounds for Lewes.
