Missing your fix of regular Albion matches? We are stepping into the breach.

We have raided our vast archive of Albion liveblogs to bring you a taste of matchday.

Today, we go back to a rare highlight from the tough 2014-15 season, when Sami Hyypia took his side to Carrow Road.

Paul Lambert and Norwich were not exactly setting the Championship alight either after coming down.

The Argus:

The two faltering sides served up a cracker, which was memorable among other things for our first view of Adrian Colunga’s slow-motion style of taking penalties.

Brighton boy Russell Martin scored an absolute belter for the Canaries.

You’ll see mention of Lewis Grabban, the striker who turned down a move to Albion in the previous season.

ONE win in eight plays one win in 13 today. So not exactly two of the Championship’s form teams!

But there is plenty of intrigue around this clash at Carrow Road. The relegated Canaries were fancied by many, including their own fans I’d imagine, to make a strong challenge to regain the Premier League status they lost last season. They initially lived up to those hopes until that recent lack of wins.

Albion have struggled to win games since August but come into this match off the back of four points from two home fixtures going into the international break. I’d suggest those four points, against Wigan and Blackburn, were no more than par from those two fixtures. Away from home they have made a habit of giving themselves deficits to make up. The one time they went ahead, they won – at Leeds. So let’s see what happens here in Norfolk today.

3pm: Albion fans are opposite us. They are overlooking the goal defended by Stockdale in this first half. Boos for the Albion, and ex-Ipswich, keeper from home fans. And boos for Grabban from Albion supporters!

5th min: Foul five yards outside the box by Forster-Caskey. Olsson curls the free-kick past the wall but into Stockdale’s midriff.

7th min: Angled low drive by LuaLua held by the diving Ruddy after a decent build-up. Albion have been looking to keep possession and take the heat out of the game so far. The Seagulls will have plenty of defending to do here today.

14th min: Albion’s best passing move so far, moving from right-back to left wing. But it breaks down and Norwich spring forward. Jerome, out to the right, cuts inside and his shot is well blocked, seemingly by Forster-Caskey, as defenders converge.

23rd min: Cross of the match so far by Tettey, whipped in low between defenders and goalkeeper, and Greer produces a superb clearance to hook it away facing his own goal. Pass of the match to date was just before all that when Ince flighted a 40-yard ball to release Bennett down the left. But his cross was easily cleared.

31st min: Almost three in three for Gardner as he curls a 25-yard free-kick over the wall and just wide.

The Argus:

33rd min - GOAL: Tettey has just relinquished “cross of the match” to Colunga - and his delivery was headed home by BRUNO. Colunga cut back inside Turner out on the left and spotted Bruno’s run from deep at the far post. The right-back kept going, got away from marker Olsson and headed Colunga’s perfectly flighted cross back across the keeper.

38th min – GOAL: Norwich are level as HOWSON gets above Hughes at the near post to head home after Redmond had gone outside Forster-Caskey down the City right and stood up a tempting cross. A shame for Albion to let slip their first away lead since winning at Elland Road in August but especially so because Norwich’s fans were turning against their side quite spectacularly until Redmond’s bit of magic.

HALF-TIME: Norwich could have gone ahead with the final kick of the half. A clearance set up Howson just outside the box but he curled weakly off target.

The Argus:

49th min – GOAL: First corner of the match and MARTIN scores for Norwich. The goal was not quite as you might imagine. The flag kick was headed away at the near post but Martin ran on to the clearance and let fly with a ferocious finish from some way outside the box into the top corner. Albion could not do much about the finish - but they played their way into trouble to concede the corner in the first place, 56th min: Fingertip save from Stockdale to deny Johnson on a counter attack.

63rd min: Colunga’s cross finds Baldock, whose header is straight at Ruddy. That was rare respite for Albion. Like their fans we are at one end of the ground and the action is mainly flooding towards the far goal. He has made two good saves in the last five minutes. Norwich are playing with a swagger.

The Argus:

66th min – GOAL: Terrific strike by LUALUA after a counter sparked by Bruno and involving Baldock. Somewhat unexpectedly, Albion make it 2-2. They got the ball out to LuaLua on the left edge of the box. He waited and waited and waited and, when it seemed no delivery was coming, he suddenly burst past his marker and drilled a low shot across Ruddy. I must admit I thought Albion were going to be swamped for a while there at 2-1. Two or three Stockdale saves in that period now looking potentially very important. Norwich will come again though. Calderon is now on for Bruno.

76th min: Stockdale saves again, from Redmond’s well struck shot. And Albion poke the rebound to safety.

The Argus:

77th min - GOAL: So cool! COLUNGA passes a penalty gently into the bottom corner after a foul on Baldock by Hooiveld and Albion lead again.

79th min: Hooper now on for Hooiveld, who conceded the penalty just inside the box, for the hosts. And Lafferty on for Grabban.

86th min - GOAL: HOOPER chests down and fires into the bottom corner. 3-3! Albion added about nine inches of height to their team, replacing Colunga with Halford not long before the goal.

The Argus:

88th min: Lafferty was booked for a foul on LuaLua. (Slightly remiss of me but, in the battle against the wifi, I did not update you with the previous bookings - Johnson and Howson earlier in the game). Olsson and Halford are also now in the book for “handbags” followed by Calderon for halting a counter-attack.

90th +2 min – RED CARD: Good job I caught up on those earlier bookings. Johnson is off for a second yellow in added time. He had a couple of goes at Gardner, then clipped his heels and was off. Norwich responded by sending on midfielder O’Neil for striker Jerome.

4.57pm – FULL-TIME: It ends 3-3. There was Albion pressure in added time but JFC could not find a team mate with his cutback. Boos from City fans at the end. Both teams looked like they would win at some stage or other. I will venture to suggest, amid the chaos, it was a fair result.

Norwich: Ruddy; Martin, Turner, Hooiveld (Hooper 78), Olsson; Redmond, Tettey, Johnson, Howson; Jerome (O’Neil 90+2), Grabban (Lafferty 82). Unused subs: Rudd, Cuellar, Murphy, Whittaker.
