Our latest Albion Liveblog looked like being a tale of two Gary Dicker penalties.

Then Glenn Murray scored a super goal to make it just a tale of three more points.

The Seagulls beat Swinden 2-1 at Withdean to take another step towards the 2010-11 League One title.

Dicker scored one penalty but saw a second saved.

Albion had endured penalty traumas all season with Chris Wood, Murray and Elliott Bennett all failing from the spot.

It got to the stage where boss Gus Poyet could not watch when his team were taking penalties.

-----------------

Pre-game: Albion make three changes as they bid to go 13 points clear for at least a day. The biggest surprise sees Craig Noone replace Elliott Bennett, who is on the bench. Fran Sandaza and Tommy Elphick come in for Chris Wood (international duty) and Adam El-Abd (injured).

1st min: Albion are going East to West but they have a scare inside the first minute as Ritchie volleys just wide from an angle after a cross is not cleared properly.

5th min: Early indications are that Swindon have come to play a bit of football. They are knocking the ball about quite nicely.

7th min: Sparrow, who scored twice in the win at Swindon on the opening day, tries his luck from 25 yards, with passing options available, but his shot goes well wide.

11th min - PENALTY: Noone picks up the ball wide on the left and goes on a stunning run which takes him past four men and deep into the box before Frampton upends him. It's a spot kick which both Dicker and Sandaza want to take in Wood's absence.

The Argus:

12th min - GOAL: After skipper Greer intervenes, DICKER takes the spot kick and calmly sends Lucas the wrong way. Sandaza is among those who run over to congratulate him as the leaders make a welcome early breakthrough.

21st min: Another buzz of excitement goes around the ground as Noone gets the ball wide left just inside his own half. He goes on another super run which takes him to the edge of the box before his shot is deflected wide by Cuthbert.

The Argus:

23rd min - GOAL: Swindon are level out of nothing as PRUTTON lets fly from well outside the box and his shot seems to take Ankergren by surprise.

26th min: This is developing into another testing afternoon for the Seagulls. Swindon look quite decent.

30th min: Sparrow shoots wide from 20 yards after the previously quiet Sandaza got the ball down and laid it off.

34th min: A better attack from Albion gets Calderon to the byline on the right and his terrific low cross is well cleared right in front of goal at the expense of a corner - which comes to nothing.

38th min: Calderon whips in another good ball. Sandaza's header gets a touch off his marker as it flies behind for a corner. The flag kick eventually reaches Sparrow on the edge of the box but his drive is blocked by Grella.

45+2 min - HALF-TIME: So 1-1 at the break, which is fair enough on the balance of play. Calderon and Andrew will be happy to have a breather after clashing heads in added time. Both were able to continue for the last few seconds of the half.

46th min: No half-time changes. Albion have to clear an early corner conceded by Greer's wayward back pass.

50th min: Calderon's mis-directed cross hangs in the air and eventually hits the top of Lucas's bar - but the keeper had it covered.

55th min: Painter's shot is on target and Lucas has to dive to his left to hold it, albeit quite comfortably.

The Argus:

60th min - PENALTY: Dicker chips a free-kick in towards Murray's run and the striker goes down. Ref Halsey spots a foul on him by Amankwaah and gives a penalty. Prolonged arguments follow and Douglas is eventually booked.

The Argus:

62nd min: Eventually the spot kick is taken but it is a weak effort by Dicker and Lucas pushes it away quite easily.

63rd min: Panic at the other end and Grella hammers a shot against the underside of the bar after Ankergren could only parry a low cross.

The Argus:

64th min - GOAL: Sandaza slides a simple pass to MURRAY, just to the right of goal 25 yards out, and he touches the ball a bit further to his right before unleashing a fabulous low shot across Lucas and inside the far post. A high quality finish.

68th min: Bennett comes on for Sparrow, who has done pretty well but seems to be limping.

70th min: Great skill by Caddis to step inside Painter's challenge about five yards outside the box but his goalbound shot is well blocked by the covering Elphick.

78th min: Are Albion looking to shore things up? Noone, who has faded in the past few minutes, makes way for Kishishev. The exciting winger deservedly gets a great ovation from home fans.

81st min: Grella senses glory as he finds space just outside the box. This time Greer blocks on the on-target shot. But Albion are sitting deep.

82nd min: Grella lets fly again. Ankergren cannot hold the ball but Calderon is first to react and clears.

84th min: Slightly surprisingly, Grella now makes way for Benyon.

90th min: The giant Ndiaye comes on for Ritchie while Albion defender Dunk replaces striker Sandaza.

90+5 min: Sheehan is booked for a foul on Bennett as Albion try to play keep-ball.

90+6 min - FULL-TIME.
