Albion would lose almost £30 million of income if the Premier League season ends here, according to a report.
But that is believed to be a worst-case scenario, working on the basis of television companies demanding immediate refunds for matches not yet delivered.
The figures, prepared by Nick Harris for the Daily Mail, show the Seagulls losing £29.7 million of income if the season is halted for good.
That comprises a loss of £23.9 million in TV deals, £3.8 million in match revenue and £2 million of commercial and retail revenue.
Leading off-field figures at the club are already taking significant pay cuts for the next three months to eat into any potential shortfall.
Paul Barber, Dan Ashworth and Graham Potter volunteered for a reduction in wages.
Albion’s stance remains firmly that they are determined to complete the current season.
