Crawley Town have furloughed players and most staff.
But the League Two outfit says there is no immediate threat to their future.
The management duo of John Yems and Lee Bradbury are among key staff who have NOT been placed on the job retention scheme.
Reds will top up the wages of those furloughed.
A statement read: “Although there is no immediate threat to the club’s financial future, this decision has been made in order to best protect the long-term viability of the football club. The club are continuing to monitor and best maintain existing revenue streams, whilst also exploring new potential streams to cover any eventuality in the ever-changing environment we find ourselves in.”
Reds are now operating on a skeleton staff and can be contacted through feedback@crawleytownfc.com.
