Six Premier League players or staff members have tested positive for Covid-19.
The tests were carried out on Sunday and yesterday.
But the Premier League are not identifying the six individuals - or the three clubs concerned.
Players or staff who have tested positive will now self-isolate for a period of seven days.
A statement read: "The Premier League is providing this aggregated information for the purposes of competition integrity and oversight.
"No specific details as to clubs or individuals will be provided by the Premier League due to legal and operational requirements."
There were 748 tests in total.
