It is 37 years today since arguably Albion's biggest ever match.

They met Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley.

That Saturday afternoon (3pm kick-off, of course) in May was by far the biggest occasion on the English football calendar at the time.

Albion did it in style, arriving in London by helicopter, strolling the pitch in dapper-looking blazers - and then creating the chance to win the cup.

The last bit did not go to plan but not to worry.

It was a fabulous day out - and there's always the replay!
