Dean Wilkins cannot wait for a break from midweek action for Albion.

The Seagulls chief was disappointed with the way his side let Cheltenham back into the match in the second half of Tuesday's FA Cup replay.

Wilkins said: "I thought we played really well in the first half. Our level of play was of quite a high standard but the second half was a bit too shaky.

"We have done fantastically well to get to the stage we are at now but we need to get some work in on the training ground, rather than a situation where we are just preparing for games.

"We deserved to be at least 2-0 up at half-time but we did not achieve that and we did not deal with the threat from Cheltenham which we new was coming.

"We have not kept a clean sheet for eight matches now and we have got to get back on the clean sheet trail."

Wilkins will get his wish next week. Albion have no match between Saturday's home game against table-topping Carlisle and the FA Cup second round tie at Torquay seven days later.
