Fans have been told they will love watching Alexis Mac Allister.

But Graham Potter says it is not just about the young guns as Albion prepare to play Leicester.

Mac Allister came off the bench at home to Arsenal to help fellow youngsters Aaron Connolly and Neal Maupay conjure up the winner against Arsenal.

Potter is considering rotation at the King Power and Mac Allister could add to his 16 minutes of playing time so far.

The Seagulls boss said: “He’s with us, he’s in our group, he’s available and I think over the next eight matches he’s going to help us.

“He has attributes supporters will like.

“He’s a hard-working player, can see a pass, a forward pass, can keep it simple but at the same time can find that pass that makes the difference.

“He’s someone we’re enjoying working with and will play a role for us in the next eight matches, which is the most important thing, then we’ll see from there.”

Steven Alzate, Alireza Jahanbakhsh and Bernardo come into contention for the 20-man matchday squad.

Alzate, who has a groin issue, reported soreness after a recent in-house practice match while Jahanbakhsh and Bernardo were left out of the group for the Arsenal game.
