Two of Albion's bright prospects have signed new deals.

Max Sanders has signed for an extra year taking him through until at least the summer of 2022 and fellow midfielder Teddy Jenks has committed until the end of the 2022-23 season.

Sanders, 21, spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at AFC Wimbledon and made 22 appearances in all competitions.

Technical director Dan Ashworth said: "We are delighted that Max has signed new terms with the club.

“He’s someone who we hold in high regard for the future. He has had a good season in terms of his development and now the challenge for him is to keep up that good progress.”

Jenks has played for Albion under-23s this term and made his senior debut versus Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup.

Ashworth said: “Teddy has made a big contribution to our development sides this season and that has been rewarded by the opportunity to work with our senior players in recent weeks.

“We’re delighted that he has chosen to commit his long-term future to the club and we’re now looking forward to helping him continue his development.”
