Albion have made five changes to their starting XI as they prepare to face Manchester City.
They see Martin Montoya and Bernardo start at full-back, Aaron Mooy and Yves Bissouma return in midfield and Aaron Connolly lead the attack.
Head coach Graham Potter had spoken of the need to be careful with teenage sensation Lamptey, who has started four games in quick succession.
