Adam Lallana is looking forward to playing against Liverpool in the Premier League next season.

Albion are expected to complete the signing of the free agent midfielder on a three-year deal in the coming days.

Lallana, 32, has spoken this week about looking forward to returning to Anfield with an opposing team next season and saying his goodbyes to the Liverpool fans.

He said: “It’s going to be unfortunate I won’t get a chance to properly say goodbye.

"But I’m pretty sure I’ll be back at Anfield and hunting for three points against them.

"I’m sure they’ll give me a nice welcome and it’ll be nice to say goodbye properly and I’m sure that will happen next season at some point.”

Albion boss Graham Potter spoke to The Argus recently about adding experience to his squad if it is the right player and person.
