Former Albion star Anthony Knockaert will be back in the Premier League next year.

Fulham last night secured their place in the Premier League with a 2-1 win over Brentford at Wembley.

The winger has been at Craven Cottage on a season-long loan and has played a key role in Fulham’s battle for promotion.

He has signed a three-year contract with the Whites last month, with the option of a further year.

“I’m happy to continue the adventure with Fulham for three more years,” he told the club website.

The Argus:

“I’m really excited for the remainder of this season and hopefully we can achieve our goal of being promoted to the Premier League.”

The fee Fulham paid Brighton for Knockaert is still undisclosed.

He joined Brighton from Standard Liege in January 2016, and he scored 27 goals in 139 outings for the Seagulls.

Albion players were quick to congratulate the Frenchman last night.

Former captain Bruno wrote: "Love that💙⚽️ Congratulations!!!"
