Charlie Oatway could be in Sunday's third round FA Cup draw - with two clubs.

Albion's community relations officer is Havant and Waterlooville's assistant manager and plays in the Conference south side's second round visit to Notts County tomorrow.

The former skipper will also be paying close attention to the Seagulls' tie at his old club Torquay, but not until he has left the pitch at Meadow Lane.

"There is only one thing I will be thinking about and that is trying to get a result for Havant and Waterlooville," Oatway said. "As soon as our game finishes then the Brighton result is the first one I will look for.

"Somebody phoned up for me from Torquay. I think they were digging around for information, but I told Dean White (Albion assistant) straight away. He knows my loyalties are with Brighton.

"It is going to be a tough test, but the way they have been performing I fancy the lads' chances against anyone at this stage of the competition."

Oatway, who was 34 on Wednesday, had to retire in August due to injury after eight years as an Albion player.

He will be joined in the Havant line-up by another ex-Albion midfielder, Shaun Wilkinson, and Joe Jordan's son, Tom.

Scouting reports on County have been carried out for the Hampshire minnows by former Seagull Warren Aspinall.

Oatway said: "We feel we can go there and get something, but if we don't stand up to be counted we could come home with our backsides smacked."
