Albion defender Tariq Lamptey got his first cap for England U21’s as they beat Austria 2-1 in a Euro qualifier.
Lamptey looked dangerous down the right whipping in a couple of threatening crosses, which Austria managed to clear.
The full-back also made a good block in the first half to deny Austria an effort at goal.
He was replaced in the 72nd minute by Norwich's Max Aarons.
England’s goals came from Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah and Norwich defender Ben Godfrey, with Patrick Schmidt pulling one back for Austria.
Meanwhile, Leandro Trossard will have to wait for his first start for Belgium after being an unused subsitute in their 5-1 win over Iceland in the Nations League.
