Albion have ended their interest in trialists Michael Kamara and Sam Malsom.
Right-back Kamara, formerly with Crystal Palace, made his latest appearance in a 1-1 draw for the reserves at Millwall on Wednesday.
Malsom, a 20-year-old striker, featured in the same match.
Manager Dean Wilkins said today: "We won't be doing anything with the two trialists at the moment. From what we have seen I don't think they are better than what we have got but we will carry on monitoring it."
Illness has ruled Nathan Elder out of the squad for tomorrow's FA Cup tie at Torquay. Frenchman David Martot has travelled after missing a couple of days training with a similar problem.
Wilkins said: "We are keeping our fingers crossed the journey doesn't spread a virus around."
