Albion have eased fears over injured duo Adam Lallana and Ben White.

The duo could be back in training by the end of the week.

It is as yet unclear as to whether that puts them in contention to face Newcastle on Sunday.

Both went off injured on their league debuts for the club against Chelsea.

Head coach Graham Potter said today: "Adam is okay, not as bad as we thought.

“He took a few heavy contacts in the game and it was more that type of injury rather than anything muscular, which is really good for us.

“He will probably be training at the back end of the week and we will take some time to think about Newcastle.

“Ben has also responded really well, making good progress, so I think we will aim to get him training towards the back end of the week as well.

“It’s positive in that respect."
