Graham Potter believes things can only get better in terms of entertainment served up by Albion and Newcastle.
The teams shared two 0-0 draws last season.
The first game on Tyneside had its exciting moments and Aaron Connolly went within inches of a winning goal.
But the late-season return at the Amex was dull in the extreme - although it was also a case of 'job done' as the Seagulls made absolutely sure of staying up.
Asked whether tomorrow's game woud be more lively, Potter said: "I would hope so! I don't think it could get any less eventful to be honest with you.
"That last game was not one for the classic album, I would say.
"Yes, we were probably fighting for points and Newcastle had got their points and it was the end of the season, with a lot of games being played.
"So one to forget, I would imagine. Hopefully it's a better game, I am pretty sure it will be."
