Albion defender Tariq Lamptey has praised his head-coach Graham Potter, after their 3-0 win away at Newcastle.

Lamptey starred for Albion getting the penalty for Neal Maupay's first goal and caused constant problems for the Newcastle defence, whilst he was on the pitch.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game Lamptey wanted to give credit to his head-coach Potter.

He said: "He is a fantastic coach, especially for me as a young player.

"The way he wants to play football is just excellent and he has a clear project.

"You know exactly what he wants from you and he is always talking to me about what I can do to help the team and what to do to bring the best out me also.

"It helps when you have a coach that really believes in you and I am just thankful to have someone like him."
