Albion won 3-0 against Newcastle at St James’ Park in the Premier League.

The Seagulls took the lead in the fourth minute from the penalty spot, after Tariq Lamptey was fouled by Allan Saint-Maximin in the box.

Neal Maupay stepped up and sent Karl Darlow the wrong way.

Four minutes later, Albion doubled their lead after Leandro Trossard made a nice run down the right before playing a low cross to Maupay who tucked the ball home, but the flag went up for offside against the Belgian winger.

However, VAR checked it and Trossard was onside so the goal was given and Albion doubled their lead.

Albion made it 3-0 in the second half when Aaron Connolly got the ball from Maupay and curled his effort into the bottom right corner.

Yves Bissouma was sent off in the 88th minute for a high boot on Jamal Lewis, after Kevin Friend overturned the yellow card he had originally given him, due to VAR recommending he looked at the monitor.
