His finish from about 40 yards contributed to a 2-0 success at home to Chelsea in Premier League 2.
The Romanian was near halfway as he picked off a stray pass from the keeper.

He advanced a few yards, then calmly played the ball into the distant net.
Albion worked hard defensively as Chelsea enjoyed a lot of possession.

But they broke forward in stunning style late on.
Peter Gwargis went close when he flashed a ball low across goal after trickery.
Then Danny Cashman struck on 83 minutes, drilling a crisp low finish across the keeper.
