Adam Lallana got the midfield nod for Albion in the absence of suspended Yves Bissouma.
He played to good effect alongside Steven Alzate in the engine room before making way for the last quarter of the contest.
Lallana previously played 44 minutes against Chelsea before limping off.
He then made a late entry off the bench in the win at Newcastle.
Albion head coach Graham Potter said: “One and off he pitch he has been really good for. He brings quality as well.

“I thought his performance was really good. We had to take him off at the end from a fatigue perspective but I thought he contributed in a really good way to how we played.
“He brings an experience, a personality, a character which is useful for the team, especially when you have a lot of young players.”
