Bayern Munich are believed to be keen on Tariq Lamptey.

A report by Florian Plettenburg of Sport1 reveals the European champions have identified Albion’s young star as a possible recruit after missing out on Sergino Dest.

It is highly unlikely the Seagulls would part with one of their hottest properties.

It is also very probable that many clubs across Europe will have noticed what Lamptey is doing down the right or the Seagulls.

Lamptey has mainly been used as wing-back by Albion rather than in a back four.

But his dynamic style suits that of Bayern, who want a player to act initially as back-up to French international Benjamin Pavard.

They were keen on Ajax youngster Dest, but he is off to Barcelona instead.

They have also eyed Norwich’s Max Aarons, who was being linked with Barcelona until recently.

The German transfer window closes, like its Premier League equivalent, next Monday.
