Graham Potter is likely to give his midweek marvels a chance to take on Manchester United.

But the team which walks out at the Amex is unlikely to be unchanged compared to the XI which beat Preston last week.

Albion host United in the Carabao Cup fourth round tomorrow after cleansheet wins over Portsmouth and Preston.

Both line-ups will show numerous changes to those which represented their clubs in the controversial Premier League meeting on Saturday.

Head coach Potter said of his cup team: “The guys have done really well in the previous rounds.

“A lot of them have been pushing to play, doing very well in training and very well I games.

“We will have a think today in terms of the squad but it will be quite close to the Preston squad but with a few other options maybe.”

Alexis Mac Allister has been passed fit after leaving the 2-0 win at Deepdale early.

Potter said: “He was a little fatigued after the game against Preston and he needed to recover but he has trained this week and he will be in the squad.”
