Albion head coach Hope Powell says their is plenty for her side to learn from their 5-0 defeat to Arsenal at the People's Pension Stadium.
Albion had started well and had chances throughout the game.
However, Powell says their is plenty the Seagulls can learn from the defeat.
She said: "I think we started quite well actually.
"To concede a goal that early against a team like Arsenal, you give yourself a mountain to climb.
"Credit to them they were very clinical in front of goal. For us it is a big lesson learnt today, but we go again.
"We looked a bit leggy, a bit tired but that is credit to Arsenal, they possess the ball very well.
"We knew that chasing the ball a lot of the time leaves you very tired. There were a lot of lessons for us to learn, but I liked the fact we kept going.
"At times we played some decent football, we just couldn't sustain it and at the end of the day they scored five and we scored none. So congratulations to them."
