Jayson Molumby said there were no nerves before his man-of-the-match display for the Republic of Ireland.
The Albion midfielder was named the Republic’s top man as they drew 0-0 with Wales in Dublin.
It was his second senior start under his former under-21s boss Stephen Kenny and he relished his contest with Aaron Ramsey in the middle of the park.
Molumby said: “I know the gaffer well.

“I probably know what to expect from him more than anyone else and what he likes from a player.
“I just tried to do the exact same as what he would have expected of me last season.
“There’s a lot of staff he brought with him so it just felt like normal coming in. I wasn’t so nervous because I knew everyone.
“We want to do well for the gaffer because we are all buzzing with the way he wants to play.”
