Aaron Connolly capped his eventful international fortnight with 90 minutes for his country.
The Albion striker was a part of the Republic of Ireland side beaten 1-0 by Finland in Helsinki in the UEFA Nations League.
Club-mate Jayson Molumby made his second senior start for the Irish and was taken off in the final minutes.
Connolly missed out on the Republic’s two previous games in this batch of fixtures due to a Covid-19 mix-up within the camp.
At one point, he was back with Albion and did not appear likely to to rejoin his international group.

He earned his fifth cap today and is s till awaiting a first international goal.
Meanwhile Leandro Trossard has been named in the Belgium starting XI to face Iceland in Reykjavik this evening.
