Dan Ashworth has hailed “a very good window” for Albion after Danny Welbeck signed a one-year deal.
The former England striker joins Adam Lallana and Joel Veltman as highly experienced arrivals since the end of last season.
Ben White and Lewis Dunk signed new deals and younger players were also added.

Ashworth, Albion’s technical director, said: “I think Danny’s arrival concludes what we feel has been a very good window for the club.
“A lot of planning, diligence and hard work went into the recruitment side and I would like to thank all the club’s different departments for their efforts in achieving that.”
