Alexis Mac Allister is hoping to play a key role for Albion as the season progresses.
The 21-year-old scored his first Premier League goal in the 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace, after coming on as a substitute.
So far Mac Allister has found game time hard to come, with most of his minutes coming from the bench.
However, he is hoping he can become a key figure for Albion this season and in the future.
Speaking to the club's website, he said: “For me, the most important thing is the team.
“I want the team to grow because it is the most important thing for the club.
“Personally, I want to be an important player and feature more.
“I am starting to play; I am improving but I know it is difficult when you come here from Argentina because it is different.
“For me I am happy, I am trying to learn English to improve in all different areas and so I can become an important player here.”
