Albion head coach Graham Potter has given an update on Danny Welbeck’s chances of featuring against West Bromwich Albion on Monday (5:30pm).
Welbeck joined Albion last Sunday on a one-year deal, after leaving Watford at the start of the month.
He has not played a game since July, but Potter has not ruled out the chances of him being involved in Albion's squad on Monday.
He said: “Well we will see.
“He has only had a couple of days with us, but he has made a really good first impression.
“Danny is a really fit guy and has looked after himself really well as a professional.
“So, it is just about integrating him in with the team and getting some team training.
“He has had a session today and we have got a couple more before the game, so we will make that decision as close as possible to the game.
“But he is looking good and has made a good impression.”
