Albion will get their first taste of pay-per-view action this evening when they take on West Brom at the Amex (Sky Sports Box Office, 5:30pm).
However, PPV games have had a mixed reaction from Albion fans and here are some of the comments we have recieved to pieces about PPV on our website and social media:

I will not be paying PPV for Monday's game , I am paying for my season ticket which I have not asked for a refund from the club and I am paying for Sky Sports each month so why should I my for a third time to watch a game . So, I will listen to the game on the radio.

Though you have paid for your season ticket, the balance is held by the club to be used once spectators are allowed back or you can request a partial refund.
The West Brom match would not have been shown on Sky/BT so your tv subscription/s are not compromised. We are just being asked to pay £14.95 if we want to watch it or not.

This is the exact reply. Either pay for it or don't.

I will be paying, as all Priestfield trekkers will.
I am running at circa £300 per month all in better off not attending so Lucky Lizard Tony deserves my dosh.

I will be listening on the radio whilst performing essential duties, this game can define the season as my mrs would say to me, it's massive.

We are told the charge is to cover the cost.
I am confused over what extra cost is incurred as all Premier League matches are covered already.
We know they are available all over the world live and even in the UK we have the free highlights from Sky on You Tube which includes commentary.
As an OAP who lives in Weston-super-Mare and is not a season ticket holder, only manages to get to the Amex a couple of times a year, the opportunity to watch the team I have supported for over 60 years is wonderful.
Thankfully £15 a match is not a problem, but I sympathise with those for whom it is.

Fans say well i have signed up to BT and Sky sports why should I pay extra for these games.
IN normal circumstances Pre Covid, you wouldn't have access to the games, they just wouldn't have been televised, but now the greedy b******s at the PL have decided to charge 15 quid for them.
