MK Dons manager and former Albion youth player Russell Martin has praised the attitude of on-loan defender Warren O’Hora.

The young Irishman is currently on a season-long loan at the League One side from Albion.

Prior to last night’s 2-0 win over Wigan, the 21-year-old centre back had not featured in The Dons last five matches.

However, Martin has admitted he was impressed by O’Hora’s attitude after being dropped.

He said: "His attitude is incredible for a young guy.

“I had a chat with him about leaving him out, but he showed the attitude we wanted.

“He said he would get his head down and work and take it.”

O’Hora played the full 90 minutes in MK Dons 2-0 win over Wigan at the Stadium MK.

He impressed in a back three alongside the experienced duo of Richard Keogh and Dean Lewington.

Martin, who played over 500 games in his career as a defender, was delighted by O’Hora’s performance.

Speaking to the MK Citizen, he said: "Warren was brilliant.

“He hasn't given us a bad game really.

“He's got a lot more to come, there's a lot to work on but I'm really pleased for him.

"I screamed at him towards the end because I'm so demanding of him, and he turned to me and he said we've won gaffer, relax!”
