Graham Potter has been impressed with Jose Mourinho's side as Albion prepare to face Tottenham on Sunday.
Spurs sit fifth in the Premier League table with 11 points from their first six games and are just two points behind leaders Everton.
They also have the most potent duo in the league at the moment in Harry Kane and Heung-min-Son.
And Potter feels Mourinho is really starting to put his stamp on Tottenham.
He said: “I have been really impressed with them, they are as good as anybody I have seen this year.
“They are really strong, have a real clarity, it is really good how they build up, how they attack, how they defend.
"They are good with Son and Kane, but there are other players as well they have some tremendous quality, with Gareth Bale coming back.
“But again Jose is a top coach, he is up there with anybody in football ever in terms of what he has achieved and done, so I have huge respect for him.”
