Ezequiel Schelotto says he wants to play the "sport that I love with all my soul" as he searches for a new club.

The former Albion right-back, 31, has yet to find a new employer since his contract with the Seagulls expired in the summer.

He announced this week that he had parted company with his agent.

Now he has sent out a message via social media saying: “I want to continue playing soccer, a healthy sport that I love with all my soul.”

Schelotto has been linked with Torino and Watford as well as clubs in Turkey but has yet to find a club in the tough, pandemic-hit marketplace.

He is not alone. Beram Kayal, who also left Albion in the summer, also remains on the lookout for new employers.

Former Seagulls striker Tomer Hemed has also spent several weeks training privately but is now reportedly close to a deal in New Zealand with Wellington Phoenix.
