Albion lost 2-1 away at Spurs in the Premier League.

Tottenham were given a free kick in the 11th minute when Harry Kane went down under the challenge from Adam Lallana just inches outside the box.

VAR checked the foul as it was close to the box.

The replays showed the foul took place just inside the area and so VAR referee Johnathan Moss instructed Graham Scott to point to the spot.

Kane stepped up and sent debutant keeper Robert Sanchez the wrong way to make it 1-0.

Albion levelled the match just over ten minutes into the second half in controversial circumstances of their own.

Solly March had slid in on Pierre- Emile Hojbjerg as he was bringing the ball out of defense, but Scott waved play on.

The ball then broke to March who had made a run to the left edge of the box.

He picked out Pascal Gross, who played the ball to Tariq Lamptey.

The full back then took a touch, before firing his effort into the bottom corner to level the game.

However, Tottenham made it 2-1 through one of their substitutes.

Gareth Bale came on in the 70th minute and just three minutes later, he met Sergio Reguilon’s cross and headed home to score the winner.
