Albion are in action tonight as they host Reading in the Conti Cup at The People’s Pension Stadium (7.30pm).

Hope Powell’s side had to postpone their last group game against Charlton two weeks ago after a staff member had tested positive for coronavirus.

Both head coach Hope Powell and her assistant Amy Merricks were in close contact with the staff member in question, so they both had to self-isolate as a precaution.

This led to them missing the last two matches but they will both be back in the dugout tonight.

Albion are third in Group D after they picked up a point from their opening group game against West Ham, but missed out on a extra point after losing on penalties.

Inessa Kaagman and Danique Kerkdijk were yesterday named in the Dutch squad for their friendly against the United States of America (USA) on November 27 and their UEFA Women’s European Championship qualifier against Kosovo.

The Netherlands have already qualified for the Euros, which will now take place in July 2022, due to the coronavirus pandemic forcing UEFA to move the competition back from it original date of July 2021.

Sarina Wiegman’s side sit top of Group A having won all nine of their games so far, scoring 42 goals and conceding just three in return
