Dean Smith says Aston Villa need a result at home.
And he would love them to get it when they host Albion on Saturday.
The Seagulls have never won at Villa Park and suffered late heartbreak on their two most recent visits.
Since thrashing Liverpool 7-2, Villa have lost at home to Leeds and Southampton in their most recent home fixtures.
But they have a perfect record on the road and made a huge statement just before the international break by winning 3-0 at Arsenal.
Villa boss Smith said today: “We will be reminding them of the good things they did against Arsenal, but also things that we can improve.
“We need a result at Villa Park because our last two haven’t been good.”
Smith is among those who feel Albion should be higher up the table than their current 16th.

He said: “I’m expecting a really tough game. They have some very good players and we certainly have to be at our best.
“They will be disappointed that they haven’t got the results that the stats suggest they should have.”
Smith was still awaiting updates on his players who have been on international duty as he faced the media this morning.
