Albion will bide their time as they hope to have Adam Lallana fit to face Liverpool.
The Seagulls midfielder would love to play against his previous club at the Amex on Saturday.
He left the action at half-time during yesterday’s 2-1 win at Aston Villa.
Seagulls boss Graham Potter said: “He just felt a bit of tightness in his groin.
"It was precautionary. Hopefully it will settle down and we will see in the next 24 or 48 hours.”
Albion will definitely be missing Tariq Lamptey after he was sent off at Villa.
