Former Albion goalkeeper Niki Maenpaa is expected to restart his career in the Championship.
The Finland international looks set to sign for Stoke City as a free agent.
Maenpaa, now 35, left Bristol City in the summer and has since been without a club.
He played for the Seagulls from 2015 to 2018, making just one league appearance.

Stoke need competition and cover for Joe Bursik and Blondy Nna Noukeu after Adam Davies and Angus Gunn were both sidelined through injury.
