Viktor Gyokeres is back in contention for Swansea tomorrow afternoon as they face Nottingham Forest.

The 22-year-old, who is on loan at the Swans from Albion for the season, has missed their last two games, due to him self-isolating after testing positive for Coronavirus.

However, Swansea boss Steve Cooper confirmed that Gyokeres and Jordan Garrick, who has also been self-isolating are back is in contention for the game against Forest.

Cooper said: “Viktor and Jordan have been back in today. They trained normally with the group. That’s a positive.

“They’re available (for the weekend). We just have to be a bit careful. They missed 10 days of training and you don’t want to put too much on them.

“We’ll build them back up as we go along. Hopefully, they’ll feature sooner rather than later."

Gyokeres will be hoping to help Swansea get one over on his former Albion boss.

Chris Hughton gave the Swedish forward his senior debut for the Seagulls in their 1-0 defeat to Southampton in the Carabao Cup at the Amex in August 2018.

Gyokeres could also come up against a former teammate in Anthony Knockaert, who is on loan at Forest from Fulham.
