Southampton striker Danny Ings could return for their trip to the Amex to face Albion on Monday night (8pm, Sky Sports).

He has missed their last three games, having undergone minor knee surgery, after picking up an injury in their win over Aston Villa last month.

Initially after the surgery Ings looked set to miss the game against the Seagulls.

But Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl revealed he returned to training yesterday.

He said: "We must have a look. Yesterday was the first time he was training with the team.

"He looks good. We must look how his body reacts to the training and then we can say more.

"But it looked good yesterday, yes."
