Peter Bankes is set for an appearance at the Amex – after upsetting the locals from afar last time.
The Merseyside official will referee Sunday’s contest between Albion and Sheffield United.
Bankes was the VAR who awarded Southampton their contentious penalty in the Seagulls’ most recent home fixture.
It will be his first middle at the Amex since one of Albion’s most important but perhaps under-rated results en route to promotion four seasons ago as they beat rivals Reading 3-0.

Michael Oliver will be assisting Bankes from Stockley Park.
Meanwhile Simon Hooper, a familiar face to Albion fans, has been appointed to referee the Christmas fixture at West Ham with Andy Madley as his video assistant.
