Neal Maupay has lifted the lid on some of the half-time discussions in the Albion changing room.
The striker revealed he had his say as Albion went in 3-1 down to Wolves.
They recovered to force a 3-3 draw with Maupay on target from the penalty spot to spark the fightback.
He said: “We want to win games and today we didn’t.
“But, regarding our first half and being 3-1 down, I think we did well to react.
“I came into the changing room at half-time and I said to the boys that we needed to lift our game, to fight more, to be more aggressive.
FULL-TIME VERDICT FROM THE AMEX
“It’s fine to lose a game of football as long as you give everything.
“I don’t think we did that in the first half.
“I said, ‘Listen boys, every one of us needs to give more – run more, fight more and, if we do it, we have a chance to get back in the game’.
“I think everyone agreed with me and we all showed great character.
“We 100% deserved that point.”
