Graham Potter has revealed why he expects Percy Tau to fit in quickly at Albion.

The South Africa international is back from his loan stint at Anderlecht.

He trained with the Seagulls for the first time today and could feature in the FA Cup tie at Newport on Sunday.

Potter was impressed by what he has seen from Tau.

He said: “Percy has had some really good experiences in Belgium and he wants to take the next step.

“He joined this morning, trained this morning, his first day.

“It’s exciting for him, it’s exciting for us.

“Now we need to help him settle in and take the next step in his career.”

Tau has scored four goals in the Jupiler Pro League this term.

Potter said: “He’s available. He has been training and playing in Belgium so he’s okay in terms of match speed and training time.

“It’s just a question of adapting to us but I think he will be involved in the group at the weekend.

“He’s a left-footed attacking player. He plays numerous positions but essentially between the lines, off the right on his left foot.

“He uses the ball well, attacks the goal, progresses the ball, plays in spaces, is able to play in small spaces.

“On the counter attack he is able to find passes, dribble or drive with the ball - some attributes that are interesting.
