This is the picture Percy Tau’s army of fans have been waiting since 2018 to see.
Wearing squad No.22, the South Africa star looked in great spirits as he at last trained with a Premier League club for the first time today.
Tau has linked up with Albion’s first team squad after securing a UK work permit.
He first signed for the club two-and-a-half years ago but has been on loan in Belgium awaiting clearance to play in this country.
Tau impressed boss Graham Potter in his first training session at Lancing this morning.
Potter could include him in the squad which faces Newport County in the FA Cup on Sunday.
He has previously allowed new players with very little or no Prem experience - such as Alexis Mac Allister and Tariq Lamptey – to initially travel to away games without being involved in the match.

It remains to be seen what happens with Tau.
But Albion have a packed schedule ahead of them and it would appear chances will be there to shine where it really counts.
