Danny Welbeck and Adam Lallana will miss Albion’s trip to Elland Road on Saturday.

Welbeck has not featured for the Seagulls since the 2-2 draw away at West Ham last month due to some swelling in his knee.

While Lallana has also not played since the game at the London Stadium after going off with a recurrence of a groin problem, that saw him miss two games at the start of last month.

The pair had already been ruled out of Albion’s clash with Manchester City this evening.

But Potter confirmed they will also miss the Leeds game.

He was then asked when they could both return to action, to which he replied: “Danny’s is a little bit of swelling in his knee which is and area where he’s had some problems before.

“So we want to make sure we are careful with that.

“He is going to be out for a couple more weeks yet I would imagine.

“Adam has made some decent progress. He’s not feeling so well at the moment, so he’s poorly. We will see how he recovers.

“But I am a bit more hopeful with Adam that he will be back sooner.”
