Swansea boss Steve Cooper has said that Viktor Gyokeres will be recalled from his loan by Albion.
The 22-year-old has struggled to make an impression at Swansea.
He has made 12 appearances in all competitions for the Championship side, but only three of those have been starts.
Gyokeres scored his first goal for Swansea at the weekend in their FA Cup third round win over Stevenage.
However, Cooper confirmed in his pre-match presser for their game against Barnsley on Saturday that the Swedish forward has said his goodbyes.
He said: "Viktor will get recalled, Brighton want to recall him.
"Viktor said his goodbyes yesterday so that will happen."
Cooper added: "He’s a really good guy and there is a good player in there but I think it was one of these loans that he came into us a little bit later than everyone wanted.
"He was really happy here but he also knew he wanted to play more football and we wish him well."
