Albion defender Bernardo could be set to move back to one of his former clubs Red Bull Salzburg on loan for the rest of the season.
The 25-year-old has struggled for game time this season and has only made three appearances, of which two of those have come in recent weeks in the home defeat to Arsenal and on Wednesday in the defeat at Manchester City.
With Solly March and Dan Burn being preferred at left back, the Brazilian has found himself as an unused substitute or not in the squad for the majority of this season.
However, he is now being linked with a return to the club where he made his name in Salzburg.
In his two seasons at the Austrian side, he made 26 appearances scoring three goals and getting one assist before he moved to German side Red Bull Leipzig.
With Salzburg having let defender Jerome Onguene go on loan to Serie A side Genoa for the rest of the season, they are looking for reinforcements and see Bernardo is a player they are looking to bring in.
