Albion head coach Graham Potter has praised his players for their 'tremedous effort' in their 1-0 win over Leeds at Elland Road.
It was the Seagulls third game in the space of just six days and their third away game in a row.
However, Potter was delighted to get the win and end a tough week on a high.
He said: "Absolutely. I am very proud of the players. It was a tremendous effort after a really tough and good week.
"We had played 120 minutes at Newport on a difficult pitch and had a long trip.
"To recover and play Manchester City on Wednesday and then to come here against a Leeds team that is quite fresh and has got the physicality they have and the attacking intent.
"To keep a clean sheet and restrict them to not too many chances and score a good goal, I couldn't be happier for the players.
"They have been fantastic, showed great character, great personality and quality as well."
