Albion head coach Graham Potter says his players deserves credit for how they performed on a very difficult Elland Road pitch.
With snow having hit yorkshire in the last few days the pitch was quite wet and cut up, which led to the ball bobbling along the ground.
That made it difficult for Albion to play their possession-based football.
But Potter believes his players should be applauded for how they performed on a less than ideal surface.
He said:"It was a heavy pitch but lucky we played at Newport on Sunday, so we were used to it.
"It wasn't the easiest as it was a very soft pitch, long grass, very heavy.
"That is again why I can only praise the players for their physicality in terms of their fitness levels, in terms of their desire because it was not an easy surface to keep running on.
"So, we are delighted."
